The Hearn Family
Mini sessions are a quick and fun way to capture the true beauty of a family. Early morning sessions are my favorite as they provide a warm and glowing natural light. This particular session the temperature was a chilly 48 degrees. While in the North, this may be a heatwave, here in Texas, we bundle up under blankets and wear our comfiest hat and gloves.
I had the joy of meeting a sweet mom and dad with their precious and creative two children. Mom wanted a more natural session with less posing. Perfect for me because I like to showcase the connection between a family whether it is seeing who can make the silliest sound or "pretending" there are prehistoric dinosaurs all around us at my favorite park, Telge Park, here in Cypress, TX.

A big sister; a best friend for the rest of a brother's life!. As a photographer, I love to capture the eyes. They are the secret into anyone's being. To me, there is nothing better than the face of a small child. The pure innocence and joy of being a little girl.

These two cool and creative kiddos were giving me their best acting. To engage this sweet little boy, we decided to go on a DINO hunt. I could see the imagination and glow in his eyes as we made our way through the forest. Every little crunch of the leaves or snap of the branches under our feet, his eyes widened and he squealed in excitement that a BIG dinosaur was coming our way.
